The activities of the organization are focused only on Drug Abuse Prevention, Treatment and HIV/AIDS programmes by running drug treatment centres, generating awareness, giving training, advocacy and participating in National and Intentional events. The main activities can be described under the following heads :

Integrated Rehabilitation Centre for Addicts :

The organization is running a 30 (thirty) bedded Integrated Rehabilitation Centre for Addicts for Young Children and Adolescent in the name of “PAARI YAIPHA LOISHANG” at HaoLamkhai, Langthabal Kunja, Canchipur, Imphal West. The centre is sponsored by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India, New Delhi. The centre is started in the year 2013 as a 15 bedded centre as a pilot/innovative project and it is upgraded to 30 bedded centre from 2014-15 as there is lots of demand for the treatment of Young and Adolescent. In the year 2019-20 the centre has given treatment to 363 drug addicts. In Type of Drug Abuse: 356 are Heroin user, 1 is using Propoxyphene, 4 are using Alcohol, 1 is using Minor Tranquilizers and 1 is using Volatile Solvents. Method of Drug Use : 6 are using Orally, 263 are Injecting and 94 are using Any other method. In Referral by Self are 3, Family are 306, By the NGOs are 4, By Ex-Clients are 33 and Law Enforcement are 17. Marital Status of the Clients are : Never Married are 294, Married are 58, Separated are 9, Separated/divorced due to drug use are 2. The Educational level of the Clients are Illiterate are 10, Literate are 28, Primary are 8, Middle are 58, Higher Secondary are 220, Graduate are 39. In the Employment Status: 304 are Unemployed and Students, 59 are Employed. In Counselling the centre conducting 800 Group Counselling, 2623 Individual Client Counselling and 1303 Family Counselling. The Centre also observing 26th June International Day Against Drug abuse and Illicit Trafficking by conducting Ex-tempore Speech, Awareness Programme in Schools. It also observing the International Yoga Day and Swacchata Pakhwada by cleaning and planting of trees inside and outside the campus of the Integrated Rehabilitation Centre of Addicts (IRCA).

Integrated Rehabilitation Centre for Addicts :

The organization is running a 15 (fifteen) bedded Integrated Rehabilitation Centre for Addicts in the name of “CARING HOME” at Komlathabi Village, Chandel District. There is lots of demand for the treatment of Addiction in the centre. The centre is sponsored by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India, New Delhi. The centre is started as a 15 bedded centre. In the year 2019-20 the centre has given treatment to 182 drug addicts. In Type of Drug Abuse: 157 are Heroin user, 14 are using Propoxyphene, 8 are using Alcohol, 1 are using Cannabis, 3 is using Amphetamines (WY). Method of Drug Use : 29 are using Orally, 153 are Injecting. In Referral by Self are 9, Friends are 19, Family are 120, by Private Doctor Hospital are 4, By the NGOs are 5, By Ex-Clients are 6 and Law Enforcement are 19. Marital Status of the Clients are : Never Married are 119, Married are 60, Separated/divorced due to drug use are 3. The Educational level of the Clients are Literate are 1, Primary are 16, Middle are 72, Higher Secondary are 85, Graduate are 8. In the Employment Status: 161 are Unemployed and Students, 21 are Employed. In Counselling the centre conducting 482 Group Counselling, 1463 Individual Client Counselling and 733 Family Counselling. The Centre also observing 26th June International Day Against Drug abuse and Illicit Trafficking by conducting Ex-tempore Speech, Awareness Programme in Schools. Outreach and Drop in Centre (ODIC) :

The Organisation also implementing the Outreach and Drop in Centre (ODIC) since October, 2019 in Thoubal District, Manipur under the sponsorship of the National Institute for Social Defence (NISD) Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment Government of India. It is an ongoing Project.

Rapid Intervention & Care (RIAC) Project:

The Organisation also implementing the Rapid Intervention & Care (RIAC) Project since October, 1998 under the sponsorship of the Manipur State AIDS Control Society (MACS) among 250 clients consisting of Injecting Drug Users (IDUs), their spouses & children in 48 intervention sites within the project area consisting of ward no. 16 & 17 of Singjamei constituency and Langthabal constituency respectively. It is an ongoing Project.
